Duty Bound is an organization that is designed to provide easy access to service opportunities. The club is staffed by six officers. The officers’ work in tandem to communicate, identify, gather, coordinate and disseminate information pertaining to practicable service opportunities. 2016-2017 officers are:

What We Do and Why it is Important:

Duty Bound operates as a clearing house for service opportunities at Marcus High School, in the surrounding community and around the Dallas Metroplex. We work in partnership with Marcus Counselors and Honor Societies, and serve as a repository for current and future service opportunities. We also research and establish service opportunites with different organizations, institutions hosting events, and other local activities. The goal of Duty Bound is to maintain a compiled and updated listing of service opportunities available to all Marcus students, grades 9-12.
Not only is volunteerism an important activity to add to your college application, it is also a wonderful opportunity to serve others.
